Lou Elena Bouey





Founding Director

Lou is an architect and systems designer. Working across the fields of the built environment, policy and systems thinking, she focuses on evidence-based, participatory design solutions to increase climate resiliency and adaptive urban placemaking for marginalised community groups, particularly displaced individuals, women and young people.

Some of her specialisms include: biobased materials, reuse and retrofit, public realm design, circular economy, ecology and regenerative work, community engagement, organisational development, forced displacement and migratory studies.
